Unique, Ever-Changing Blooms for Pollinator Gardens

Cosmos Antiquity is a stunning flowering annual celebrated for its antique-inspired blooms that transform throughout the season. Flowers open in deep, velvety crimson and gradually soften into matte pinks and dusty rose, creating a dynamic, ever-changing display. Each 2-inch daisy-like bloom features a golden center and appears in abundance, drawing bees, butterflies, and other pollinators with ease—an ideal choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.

This compact, bushy cosmos variety (typically 12–15 inches tall) is perfect for borders, containers, and small-space plantings. Its lacy, fern-like foliage adds a delicate texture, while the plant’s naturally tidy form makes it a beautiful addition to both modern and cottage-style gardens. Cosmos Antiquity is known for its early, prolific, and long-lasting flowering season, providing continuous color with minimal care.

Highly valued as an ornamental, Antiquity offers long-lasting flowers that hold up beautifully in both the landscape and floral arrangements. The shifting hues of each bloom add visual intrigue, giving bouquets and garden beds a fresh look each day. With excellent heat tolerance, natural disease resistance, and a low-maintenance growth habit, this variety provides reliable performance even in challenging conditions.

Growing Success Tips (Plant Care)

• Plant in full sun (6–8 hours daily) for best color and bloom volume

• Thrives in well-drained, average to poor soil—overly rich soil can reduce flowering

• Space plants 12–18 inches apart to encourage airflow and prevent disease

• Deadhead spent blooms to promote continuous flowering

• Pinch young plants to encourage fuller, bushier growth and more blooms

• Water moderately; becomes drought tolerant once established
